Emily’s House is a single storey building which has been adapted to meet the needs of children with complex clinical and medical needs, social and additional needs. The home is in Warrington and central to the motorway network.
This is made possible by having a dedicated Practice Educator & Adviser on site on set days per week. They provide teaching, competence assessment and annual refresher training for all RSWs. The Nurse is registered with the NMC and is supervised by the company’s Lead Practice Educator & Adviser 4 times per year.
Emily’s House has 6 individual bedrooms with a ‘Jack & Jill’ adapted bathroom or shower room.
It also has a well-equipped Sensory room and a large garden with patio doors and a ramp from the living room.
Each bedroom is spacious and decorated to the taste of the child / young person who lives there.
There is a large team of Residential Support Workers (RSW) who support the young people to enjoy life both at Emily’s House and whilst out at school or on social activities and attending local clubs/groups such as Brownies, dancing etc.
The home has its own adapted wheelchair accessible minibus which can transport up to 2 young people and their RSWs.
Emily’s House is registered with OFSTED since December 2020.
