Millie’s Courtyard is a purpose built level access Children’s home in the heart of Liverpool. We support children and young people with complex clinical, social and additional needs.
This is made possible by having a dedicated Practice Educator & Adviser on site on set days per week. They provide teaching, competence assessment and annual refresher training for all RSWs. The Nurse is registered with the NMC and is supervised by the company’s Lead Practice Educator & Adviser 4 times per year.
Millie’s Courtyard has 5 individual bedrooms with a ‘Jack & Jill’ adapted bathroom or shower room.
It also has a well-equipped Sensory room and a large rear garden with patio doors and ramps from the living room and family room.
Each bedroom is spacious and decorated to the taste of the child / young person who lives there.
There is a large team of Residential Support Workers (RSW) who support the young people to enjoy life both at Millie’s Courtyard and whilst out at school or on social activities and attending local clubs/groups such as Brownies, dancing etc.
Millie’s Courtyard has its own adapted wheelchair accessible minibus which can transport up to 2 young people and their RSWs.
Millie’s Courtyard is registered with OFSTED and has been judged as ‘Good’ in all areas at its last inspection.
